Mother's love
12th July, 2015
Do you hear the lingering notes
Your mother's tender whispers
Engraving the first words
The prologue of your identity
She rocked and held you close

Do you see the smile on her face
When she looks at you
Cradling you amongst the world
She laughed at your first murmur
A tiny sound filled with hope
And in that moment of joy
The short depiction of love
You knew you were loved
More than anyone else‎
