The Apocalypse
25th February, 2016 Artists

An apocalypse (Ancient Greek: ἀποκάλυψις apokálypsis, from ἀπό and καλύπτω meaning "uncovering"), translated literally from Greek, is a disclosure of knowledge, i.e., a lifting of the veil or revelation. In religious contexts it is usually a disclosure of something hidden.

The pencil sketch was done as a capture of what i wanted the final work to look like before transferring it to photoshop. The second work in progress picture is the outlining stage done with a pen tool.

Then I began adding colors and worked towards the final stage. I wanted something fiery, something that says, "This is War!"

In total I had over seventy-five (75) layers before I got to the last stage.
